Plain language about who we are, what we sell, and what this website is not.
Who we are
Byrer Wealth Management, LLC is an independent insurance agency. Ted Byrer is a licensed insurance professional in Indiana, Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas and works as a Retirement Income Specialist and Independent Insurance Agent. The office is in Westfield, Indiana. We are not a registered investment adviser, not a broker-dealer, and not a bank. We do not offer, sell, or recommend securities. Products and appointments are available only where Ted is licensed.
Products
Insurance products — including fixed indexed annuities, fixed life insurance, long-term care, disability, accident, and property & casualty — are issued by third-party insurance companies. Features, riders, rates, and availability vary by carrier and by state, and are subject to underwriting. We are independent and may offer products from more than one insurer. We are not obligated to represent any single company.
Guarantees
Any guarantee is backed solely by the claims-paying ability of the issuing insurance company. Annuities and life insurance are not deposits, are not FDIC insured, are not insured by any federal government agency, and are not guaranteed by any bank. Surrendering a contract early may result in charges and a loss of value. Illustrations are not guarantees of future results.
This website
Content, including calculators and articles, is for general education. It is not insurance advice, tax advice, legal advice, or a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell, or exchange any specific product. Your facts, health, and state of residence control what can actually be offered. Calculators produce hypothetical results based only on the numbers you enter.
Social Security & Medicare
We are not affiliated with the United States government, the Social Security Administration, or the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. Mentions of those programs are educational.
Compensation
As an insurance agent, Ted may be paid commissions by the issuing insurer when a product is placed. That will be disclosed in the contracting process. There is no fee to start a conversation.
